Model United Nations is a small group on the Roanoke College Campus which aims to teach members of the Roanoke College community about the activities of the United Nations. To do so, we encourage students of Roanoke College to participate in the annual National Model United Nations conference in New York City.
Here students are asked to model the activities and foreign policy of a specific state in the General Assembly. In previous years we have represented states such as Sierra Leone, Burundi, and Botswana at the conference.
Sadly funds are limited and thus we are only able to bring a small group to the national conference, but we hope to grow as a club on campus!
So come join us! Learn about the UN! Make a proactive difference in taking your International Relations learning out of the textbook!
